Sandor Vajda To Present At EPA Forum

BU SBRP researcher Sandor Vajda (Bioinformatics Core) will be delivering a talk titled "Mapping of Proteins for the Binding of Functional Groups from Xenobiotics" at the International Science Forum on Computational Toxicology at the EPA's main facility in North Carolina. Dr. Vajda will be speaking at noon on Tuesday May 22, 2007.

BU SBRP researchers present at the PRIMO Symposium in Brazil

BU SBRP researchers Mark Hahn (Project 5) and John Stegeman (Project 6) recently traveled to the 14th International Pollutant Responses in Marine Organisms (PRIMO) Symposium in Florianopolis, Brazil to present their work. Dr. Stegeman presented a history of PRIMO during the Opening Ceremony and chaired a session on "Organic Xenobiotics: mechanisms of detoxification and mechanisms of toxicity." Dr. Hahn also spoke during the Opening Ceremony and chaired a session on "Environmental Genomics."
