RSS Aggregators can also import a number of feeds at once. This can save a lot of time, and is a great way to share resources, since you can just import a list of feeds from a friend to get started.
In order to import a number of feeds they must be listed in an OPML file (sometimes called an XML file). We've compiled a number of feeds that provide good information on environmental health. If you have a PC, you can download this OPML file by right clicking on this link and saving the file "eh_feeds.xml" to your desktop.
After the file has downloaded you'll need to use the import function in your aggregator.
If you have a Google Reader you can start by clicking on “Settings” or “Manage Subscriptions.”
From the settings page, click the “Import/Export” link.
To find the OPML you need to “Browse” your desktop (or wherever you saved the file) and select "eh_feeds.xml".
Click on the file and then press upload.
It may take a moment to upload your OPML file, but when it does you should get a message that the upload is complete, and you should see all of your new subscriptions.
